Ka'b bin 'Uzrah (Razi Allah Ta'lah Anhu) met me. He said, "Shall I not give you a present (of a tradition) I hear from the Prophet? 'Yes' I said, 'give me.'. Ka'b bin 'Uzrah (Razi Allah Ta'lah Anhu) said : We asked the Messenger of Allah and enquired: O Prophet of Allah! How shall be the blessings invoked on you, the people of the House? Because Allah has taught us how we shall greet you. He said: Say: O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as you had blessed Abraham and the family of Abraham. Verily you are the Praised, the Glorious. O Allah, bestow favours on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad as you had bestowed favours on Abraham and on the family of Abraham."

Narrated by Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Laila (Razi Allah Ta'lah Anhu); Sahih Bukhari and Muslim transmitted it. Hadith No. 919 of Mishkat al-Masabih.

We said, "O Allah's Apostle! This is (i.e. we know) the greeting to you; will you tell us how to send Salat on you?" He said, "Say: 'Allahumma Salli 'ala Muhammadin 'abdika wa rasulika kama sal-laita 'ala Ibrahima wa barik 'ala Muhammadin wa all Muhammadin kama barakta 'ala Ibrahima wa Ali Ibrahim.' "

Narrated by Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (Razi Allah Ta'lah Anhu); Sahih Bukhari transmitted it. Vol 8:#369 of Sahih Bukhari.

Allah's Messenger (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam) said: He who invokes one blessings upon me, Allah will shower ten blessings upon him and obliterate ten sins (of his) and elevate him by ten ranks.

Narrated by Anas ibn Malik (Razi Allah Ta'lah Anhu); Nasa'i transmitted it. Hadith No. 922 of Mishkat al-Masabih.

The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle! How shall we (ask Allah to) send blessings on you?" Allah's Apostle (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam) replied, "Say: O Allah! Send Your Mercy on Muhammad and on his wives and on his offspring, as You sent Your Mercy on Abraham's family; and send Your Blessings on Muhammad and on his offspring, as You sent Your Blessings on Abraham's family, for You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious.

Narrated by Abu Humaid As-Sa'idi (Razi Allah Ta'lah Anhu); Sahih Bukhari transmitted it. Vol 4:#588 of Sahih Bukhari.

Allah's Messenger (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam) said, "Invoke many blessings on me on Friday for it is witnessed. The angels are present on it, and no one will invoke a blessing on me without his blessing being submitted to me till he stops." I asked whether that applied also after his death, and he replied, "Allah has prohibited the Earth from consuming the bodies of the prophets; so Allah's prophets are alive and given provision."

Narrated by Abud Darda (Razi Allah Ta'lah Anhu); Ibn Majah transmitted it. Hadith No. 1366 of Mishkat al-Masabih.

The Prophet (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam) said: A miser is one who does not invoke blessings upon me when I am mentioned in his presence.

Narrated by Hazrat Ali ibn AbuTalib (Razi Allah Ta'lah Anhu); Tirmidhi transmitted it. Hadith No. 933 of Mishkat al-Masabih.

I said: Allah's Messenger (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam), I invoke blessings upon you very frequently. How much of my supplication should I devote to you. He said: As much as you like. I said: May it be a quarter? He said: As much as you like, but if you increase it, it will be good for you. I said: May it be a half? He said: As much as you like, but if you increase it, it will be good for you. I said: May it be two thirds? He said: As much as you like but if you make an increase in it, it will be better. I said: May I devote the whole of my supplication to you (that I make in my prayer)? Thereupon he said: In that case it will take care of you and your sins would be expiated.

Narrated by Ubayy ibn Ka'b (Razi Allah Ta'lah Anhu); Tirmidhi transmitted it. Hadith No. 929 of Mishkat al-Masabih.

Allah's Messenger (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam) said: There is a mobile (squads) of Angels on Earth convey to me the blessings invoked upon me by my Ummah.

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (Razi Allah Ta'lah Anhu); Nasa'i and Darimi transmitted it. Hadith No. 924 of Mishkat al-Masabih.

“The Prophet of Allah (Sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) asked the Sahaba. “Who is a stingy and miserly person. The Sahaba responded: ” O Messenger Of Allah (sallallahu aliyhi Wassallam) A stingy person is he who has loads of wealth but does not spend it.” The Prophet of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wassallam) responded “No! a Stingy and Miserly person is he in whose presence my name is mentioned and he does not recite Durood.”
The Prophet of Allah ( sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) has said that whoever recites Durood upon me for his each recitation Allah Ta Ala will Forgive ten of his sins , his rank in paradise will be raised by ten Degrees, and he will receive ten blessings.
Whoever recites Durood abundantly, will be the closest to The Prophet Of Allah (sallallahu Alaiyhi wassallam).
Whoever recites Durood abundantly, he will be relieved of his debts.
Whoever recites Durood abundantly, at the time of his death he will blessed with the tawfiq to recite the Kalimah Tayabbah.
Whoever recites Durood abundantly, will be protected from the punishment of the grave.
Whoever recites Durood abundantly, will be given the Tawfiq to perform Hajj.
Whoever recites Durood abundantly, will be given tawfiq to visit the Blessed Grave of our Beloved (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam).
Whoever recites Durood abundantly, will be blessed by seeing the Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) in his dreams.
Whoever recites Durood abundantly, on the day of Qayamat his face will be shining like the Moon on the 14th night of the month when it is at its brightest.
Whoever recites Durood abundantly, he will be as close to The Prophet Of Allah (Sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) as the Index finger is to the middle finger on a hand.
Whoever recites Durood abundantly, will be given the water from the fountain of HOZ E KOUSAR to drink by The Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam).
Whoever recites Durood abundantly, and passes away and is buried in Medina
he will be amongst the first to receive devine mercy and to drink from
HOZ E KOUSAR ,and amongst the first to enter Paradise
Also remember the most Blessed Of Duroods is the Durood Ibrahimi . In this Durood You Not only remember the Beloved Of Allah (Sallallahu alaiyhi Wassallam) But You also remember The direct and Beloved forefather, Of Our Beloved Sallallahu alaiyhi Wassallam) Khaliliullah the friend of Allah Sayiddina Ibrahim (Alaiyhi Salaam). May Allah increase us in our love for them and may Allah also give us the Tawfiq to recite this Durood abundantly and not be lazy in our recitation ameen.
I pray that Allah gives us this tawfiq

Salat al-Bakriya worth 70,000 *Full recitations of Dalail al-Khayrat*

According to Jawahir al-Maani and Kitab “Ward al-Juyub”, the bounty of the Salat al-Bakriya is worth 70.000 full recitations of Dalail al-Khayrat. The prayer is the product of al-Qutb Sidi Mohammed al-Bakri as-Siddiqi al-Misri (d. 994/1585) and it goes: “Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Mohammedin wa ‘ala alihi, salaatan ta’adilu jamii’a salawaati ahli ma’habbatika, wa sallim ‘ala Sayyidina Mohammedin wa ‘ala alihi salaaman ya’adilu salamahum.”

Salat al-’Adhimiya

A Great Ijaza

Since we are speaking of travel by sea and its blessings, I thought this would be a great opportunity to present the reader a great blessing that came while sayyidi Shaykh Saleh al-Ja’fari was travelling by sea. This is a great blessing to everyone who reads it, so read carefully.

Shaykh Saleh al-Ja’fari

The shaykh says:

“I was travelling by sea on the boat from Jeddah to Libya, and I saw in my sleep that I was sitting in the room that I was in, on a bed, and next to me was another bed. I was sitting and reciting the First Salaat (of the Salawat of Shaykh Ahmad ibn Idris). So when I began reciting it, the Prophet salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam entered the room and sat on the other bed and he said, salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam: ‘I came to hear from you the salaat of Ibn Idris.’

Then he laid down on his right side, salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam, and the more I continued in reciting it, the more his light increased, and so did his visbility to me, salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam. So I thought to myself, whilst in the middle of the recitation, to get up and greet him, salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam, so I stood up and kissed his noble hand and he wiped with it my face and my chest. Then he pointed to me with his hand to sit and finish the salaat. So I sat back and finished the First Salaat, and said after it: “Oh you of perfect body, of you of beautiful attributes,” until the end of the Seventh Salaat. Then I woke up from my sleep, rejoicing, happy, thanking Allah Most High.

And he, salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam, had already given me a general ijaza for all the salawat. And that is that I saw in my dream that I was doing salaat on the Prophet salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam, with salawat other than the ones from our Idrisi tariqa. But when I began with the Azeemiyya (of shaykh Ahmad ibn Idris), he appeared to me, salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam, sitting on a chair. So I got up and kissed his noble hand and said:

“Shall I do salaat on you, oh Messenger, with this formula?”

So he said: “With it and with other than it.” And he pointed with his noble head from top to bottom, and from bottom to up, salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam tasleema.

And I give ijaza to all the brothers from the Idrisi tariqa and from others, from the East to the West of the world, in this Salaat Azeemiyya, in which the Messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam gave me ijaza. And likewise I give them ijaza in the First Salaat, which the Messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam heard from me, and like wise I give them ijaza with the rest of the salawat, which the Messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam gave me ijaza in by saying: “With it and with other than it.” And I make my sanad in that the Messenger of Allah, salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam.

And I have great hope that everyone who hears these words of mine, and turns with his heart and body toward these salawat, and recites them regularly with love and belief, that he will see him, salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam, in sleep and in the waking. And nothing stands between me and the doubters except trying.

So oh you who is fond of himself, proud of his every action, heedless of the enclosures of sanctity, turning away from the causes of his uns, hurry to us! And then hurry to us! For in every age we have appearances… and pearls, and jewels!”

———-

So there you go, oh happy reader. You now have an ijaza in the great Salaat Azeemiyya, and the rest of the Salawat of shaykh Ahmad ibn Idris, and all other salawat formulas in the world. And your sanad is this:

From the great Qutb, sayyidi Shaykh Saleh al-Ja’fari, from the Messenger of Allah, salla Allahu alayhi wa Alihi wa sallam.

O Allah! Bestow blessings and peace

that are invoked by all tongues in a vast gathering

on Your servant (the noble Prophet),

who combined in himself all admirable human qualities:

such extensive blessings as are witnessed in the realm of souls;

in every situation, in every thought, in every moment;

as many times as the number of those who invoke blessings on him

and the number of such invocations,

and as many times as the number of those who remember him

and the number of such rememberances,

such blessings whose spiritual light

may abide in my ears, in my eye, on my tongue,

in my heart and indeed in my whole body

so that neither my body nor these its parts disobey Allah.

O Allah! Let me reach to the situation

where my heart does not act contrary to Your Wishes,

does not cause me any anxiety,

and does not temp my limbs to disobedience;

and let me reach a position

in which my heart does not slacken in Your obedience,

is pleasing in Your Presence, acceptable before You;

and let my limbs not separate from good deeds

done sincerely to please You,

that are acceptable in Your Presence,

O The Most Merciful of those who show mercy.

Salat al-Fatih

In the words of Sidna Shaykh as read in the Jawahir al-Maani:

“After I studied the prayer (of Salat al-Fatih) I realized that it excels the worship of all jinns, humans, and angles”. And he said (may Allah be pleased with him): “The Apostle of Allah (peace and blessing be upon him) told me: ‘No one has ever prayed on me with a prayer better than the one of Salat al-Fatih’.” He said (may Allah be pleased with him): “That the residents of the Seven Skys and the Seven Earths congregate to describe the rewards of Salat al-Fatih they would have failed.” And he said (may Allah be pleased with him): “What you have heard on the bounty of Salat al-Fatih is a drop in the sea compared to what is concealed.”

The Salat al-Fatih praises the prophets with four great traits: opening (al-Fath), sealhood (al-Khatm), victory (al-Nasr), and guidance (al-Hady). As such he is qualified as the promoter of the opening of everything that is concealed and blocked for all previous messengers. He is also described as director of law by law, attributed to him by God, and also, he is the guide of believers to Allah’s path. Some have explained this opening by the first emergence of the Holy Prophet Sidna Mohammed (peace and blessing be upon him), being the first human being emerged from the big void, even before the genesis or the creation of the world.

The Salat al-Fatih is not Sidna Shaykh’s own. It had been inspired to another previous Shaykh, the great pole Sidi Abu Abdullah Mohammed al-Bakri Siddiqi of Egypt (d. 994/1585), who stated that one prayer of the prayer is worth the reward of six hundred thousand ordinary prayers. Al-Khalifa al-Akbar Sidi Ali Harazem Berrada (d. 1212/1797) said in Kitab Jawahir al-Ma’ani, “Sidna Shaykh said: I have asked the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) on the reward of Salat al-Fatih to which he (peace and blessing be upon him) responded, “it is worth six thousand (6000) recitation of the Holy Quran’”. Verily, Salat al-Fatih is a divine matter which has no room for the mind intellect. If we were to estimate there are 100,000 nations each nation is made of 100,000 tribes each tribe is made of 100,000 men each one of those men lived for 100,000 years and recited 1,000 prayer upon the Prophet (other than Salat al-Fatih) every day of their lives then the reward (thawab) for all of these nations along all these years would not catch up with the reward of one times of reciting Salat al-Fatih.”

Al-Khalifa al-Akbar Sidi Abul Hassan Ali Harazem (may Allah be pleased with him) reports the following in Risalat al-Fadl wa al-Imtinan:

The prayer has come as it is from the World of Unseen (al-Ghayb) and what has come from the unseen is confirmed and is beyond the upper basis and does not stand to the rules of a compiler, the characteristics of this Prayer is that it does not also stand to analogy. Let’s suppose 100,000 nations each nation is made of 100,000 tribes each tribe is made of 100,000 men each one of those men lived for 100,000 years and recited 1,000 prayer upon the Prophet (other than Salat al-Fatih) every day of their lives then the reward (thawab) for all of these nations along all these years would not catch up with the reward of one times of reciting Salat al-Fatih. So disregard those who spread calumny as merit is within the hands of Almighty Allah and he give it to those he likes, sufficient and convincingly are the terms of the Holy Quran: “And He creates what you knew not”. (…) Frankly, the one who yearns for this happiness and is earnestly trying to reach this unique jewel will surely be drawn by Allah’s merits to believe what has been said without taking into account analogy and making only the unicity (tawhid) of Almighty Allah his safe and happy road, and for those doubtful people who do often ask such question, “From where did you get such information?”, so be careful not to enter into sterile conversation with those people as you are well aware from what corner our sources were taken.

In another letter Sidna Shaykh illustrated that whoever has greeted the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) through Salat al-Fatih once, he will bear the rewards of all Prayers that have occurred across the universe by mankind, Angels and Jinns, in a number of six hundred thousand from the first creation of the universe until the recitation has been completed, and each prayer with a reward of six hundred thousand (600,000) from all faithful from mankind, angels and Jinns. And each prayer with a reward of four hundred (400) conquests and each conquest with a reward of four hundred (400) Hajj pilgrimage, and each prayer from all these with a bird as mentioned in the Hadith that has seventy thousand wings (70,000), and each prayer with a Houri wife and ten (10) virtues and the erasure of ten (10) sins and for each prayer, the Exalted Allah and his Angels salute the Prophet ten times.

And in another letter, a unique Prayer with a reward of six thousand folds from each Dhikr emanating from each person in this globe to the sole exception of the Holy Quran which is of six folds. Sidna Shaykh (may Allah be satisfied with him) told me: “That’s what I have orally heard from the Beloved Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him)”. And all his declarations (may Allah be satisfied with him) are on daylight. Furthermore, be informed O brother that the inherency on the Prayers on the Prophet has a blessed dividend on men, his children and his grand children, whereas the Prayer of Salat al-Fatih it is a genuine guarantee for the bounties of this world and that of the hereafter to the one who is inherent to this tradition and has abided through the right permission. And be informed O brother nothing is better than the means (wassila) in Allah’s realm and much more acceptable to you in reaching the pleasure of Almighty Allah than these great prayers and greetings upon the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) as all scholars and despite their different views on the issue have all agreed upon the total acceptance of this highly respected deed in accordance with the Hadith of the Beloved Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) when Almighty Allah said: “ O Mohammed whoever has saluted you, I will salute him”, and it is crystal clear that this truthful promise is certainly both a Divine attention and deserved reward those humble believers.

The venerated Shaykh, Sidi Abul Fadl al-Haj Omar ibn Said al-Futi Tall (d. 1279/1864) informs in the book entitled the “Rimah al Hizb al Raheem ala Nuhur al Hizb al Rajeem” (The spears of the league of the Merciful thrown at the necks of the league of the accursed),

As for the invocation of Salat al-Fatih it has three degrees: an external degree, an internal degree and the degree of the inmost (batin al-batin). I had intended to provide a complete explanation of it at this point, and to describe its marvels and its wonders. I was prevented from that, however by the fact that most people lack the maturity required for the acquisition of that kind of knowledge. I shall therefore content myself with mentioning some of what is available in Kitab Jawahir al Ma’ani concerning the external degree. Sidna Shaykh has said: “As for Salat al-Fatih when I asked the Prophet about it, he informed me first of all, that it is worth six hundred thousand invocation of blessing (600,000). I also asked him, ‘For each invocation of blessing does one bird fly up toward heaven-that being the bird which has seventy thousand wings, as described in the Hadith, or do six hundred thousand (600,000) birds of that kind fly up each time, and is the reward of their glorification assigned to the invoker of blessing upon the Prophet?’ The Prophet replied: “Six hundred thousand (600,000) birds of that kind fly up each time.”

As for the number of each bird’s tongues, the Shaykh said, ”The total number of its tongues is 1,780,000,700,000,000,000,000,000. Each tongue glorifies Allah in seventy thousand languages in a split second, and all of is reward is assigned each time to the invoker of blessing upon the Prophet. This applies to every prayer on the Prophet than Salat al-Fatih. As for the latter, it gives rise, each time, to six hundred thousand (600,000) birds of the kind described, as previously mentioned.” Sidna Shaykh then went on to say, “When I asked the Prophet about the authenticity of the Hadith, ‘The invocation of showering a prayer upon him (peace and blessing be upon him) one time, is worth the reward of four hundred (400) military campaigns (ghazwa) and every campaign is worth four hundred (400) pilgrimages (‘hajja).’ The Prophet replied: “It is indeed authentic”. I then asked the Prophet about the number of these campaigns: ‘Are four hundred (400) campaigns equivalent to a single offering of Salat al-Fatih, or are four hundred (400) campaigns equivalent to each of the six hundred thousand (600,000) invocations of blessing?’ The Prophet answered: Salat al-Fatih is worth six hundred thousand (600,000) invocations of showering a prayer upon him one, and each of the six hundred thousand (600,000) invocations of blessing is worth four hundred campaigns’!

Then he went on to say: If someone invokes it (Salat al-Fatih); one time, he will receive the reward he would receive if he offered every invocation of salat upon the Prophet ever offered in the universe, by all the jinn, human beings and angels, six hundred thousand times (600,000), from the beginning of time until the moment when he utters its invocation. In other words, it is as if he has offered six hundred thousand times (600,000) all the invocations ever invoked by all the invokers of salat, angels, jinn and human beings, every one of those invocations being worth a spouse among the houries (al-’hur al-’in), and ten good deeds (‘hasanat), and the erasure of ten bad deeds (sayyiat), and promotion by ten degrees (darajat). Allah and his angels will also bless him ten times for every invocation of blessing. Sidna Shaykh then said: Once you have contemplated this with your heart, you will know that no act of worship is equal to a single offering of the salat upon the Prophet, so how about someone who offers it many times?” What gracious favor he enjoys in the presence of Allah, and this is received each time the invocation is offered!

Salawat of Sayyidi Habib Umar Bin Hafiz ..

This is one of my favorite salawats by Sayyidi Habib Umar Bin Hafiz qs. I was given this salawat in a vision from Habib Umar Bin Hafiz qs who said he took this salawat directly from the Holy Prophet salla Allaahu ‘alayhi wa salaam. He instructed me to recite this salawat 1000x times , 500x times, 300x times or 70x times a day.

Al Fatiha
